Terms and Conditions

Resumify provides a free resume builder with live preview, multiple templates, PDF/DOCX export, ATS scanning, job-description matching, and account-based resume management. Some features require a Google account sign-in.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Resumify, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

• Sign-in is available via Google OAuth only. You are responsible for your Google account security.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at legal@resumify.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may build and download one resume without an account. Guest resume data is stored in your browser locally. We are not responsible for loss of guest data if you clear browser storage or switch devices. Sign in to save resumes permanently.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent resume information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other users' data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Upload malware, spam, or harmful content
• Violate third-party intellectual property rights
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without permission

You retain ownership of the resume content and data you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, and display your content solely to provide the Service (including PDF generation, cloud storage, and tool analyses).

You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

ATS Scanner and JD Matcher provide automated, rule-based suggestions. Results are informational only and do not guarantee interview callbacks, job offers, or ATS compatibility with every employer system. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all resume content before submission to employers.

The Resumify name, logo, website design, templates, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials except as permitted by these Terms.

Resume templates are licensed for your personal use in creating your own resumes. You may not redistribute templates as standalone products.

The Service is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or limits in the future with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. We are not liable for downtime, data loss due to technical failures, or third-party service outages (including Google, Neon, ImageKit, or Vercel).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUMIFY AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100), since the Service is currently free.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resumify from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but provisions that should survive (liability limits, indemnification, governing law) will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
